We loved everything ~ Villa Michalis is brilliant in every respect. The owners are very friendly and helpful and we soon felt part of the family. The onsite Maroula Tavern traditional food is extensive, fresh, cooked to perfection and delicious. The pool is sensational ~ extremely blue, large, deep, clean, inviting and the water is nice. The pool and sea views from the balconies are great. The rooms were nicely decorated and kept extremely clean. Showers were powerful and as hot as you like. Wi-Fi worked very well everywhere including in the rooms at all times. The local Vlychada beach and local harbour are only a short walk away and fabulous. We enjoyed all our trips ~ not long to get to Fira and elsewhere by car. We looked round the island at other hotels and never saw anywhere as nice as Villa Michalis - also at the time of year we went all the other hotels on the island pools were empty - SO LUCKY AND PLEASED WE WENT TO VILLA MICHALIS as the pool in operation for my kids was essential!!! Also we didn't see any other pool which would have been anywhere near as nice even if it had water! We were very sad to leave and definitely will return. My children want to go back as soon as possible! Very happy memories an exceptional holiday...
Would have liked a kettle in the room ~ but luckily I took a flask and the hoteliers happily filled my flask every day so was OK

Great staff and food, made us feel like part of the family. Would come back again no doubt.
It's pretty far away from the cities of fira and oia. So it made sense renting a car.

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations! the value for money is outstanding - you get so much more than you pay for. Secondly, the attention to detail is remarkable; I mean, where else can you find rooms with nice music and cocktails served with a smile? The location is also great, with not one but two beautiful beaches within walking distance. And finally, the staff's service is top-notch, always going the extra mile to ensure their guests' satisfaction. A special mention to the included breakfast, which was absolutely delicious and perfect for those with a big appetite.
Nothing to fault, everything was simply perfect!

Reasonably clean property with excellent staff with the service almost 24 hours. Unbeatable and amazing location adjacent to the island as well as taverna, only 5 minutes walk from a historical tomato factory.

We stumbled upon this hidden gem and had the most amazing time. The swimming pool was clean and had plenty of lounge chairs. The food at the on-site taverna was delicious, especially the Greek yogurt. The location was peaceful yet close to everything we wanted to see. I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful getaway.

The hotel is situated in a relatively secluded area, which offers a peaceful and calm environment. the view of the beach and the sea was breathtaking, and the hotel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. the pool area was kept clean and there were plenty of sun loungers to choose from, which was a great way to relax.
The bathroom was quite old and needs a better renovation. the shower cubicle was particularly small, and the shower head was positioned too low so it was necessary to duck down to take a shower or lift the hose up to wash hair.
